	ENG 020 - College Reading I Lecture - Lab - Credit Hours: 3-0-3 Designed to promote success in college reading by increasing efficiency in textbook and learning strategies, by improving perception of key elements of text, by expanding vocabulary through application of word parts, and by improving the ability to construct meaning through direct instruction in reading and study strategies.Prerequisite: Appropriate placement score. Students are placed into ENG 020 based upon the results of their COMPASS test scores.
