NA 120 - Phlebotomy Technician TrainingLecture - Lab - Credit Hours: 3-2-4
This course is designed to prepare the student in routine phlebotomy techniques for obtaining blood specimens for laboratory analysis. Format of lecture/lab includes venipuncture techniques, phlebotomy equipment, micro-puncture techniques, infection control, and labeling of blood specimens.Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 021 and ENG 099 , or minimum grade “C” in ENG 020 and ENG 098 .Concurrent: CPR 100.
