CDEV 255 - Child Development Internship & SeminarCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 2 Lab: 8 This course deals with the application of evidence-based practices stemming from early childhood education principles and theories. Students work with young children in early childhood settings under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and a college faculty member. The student must complete a minimum of 130 practicum hours which culminate in the planning and implementation of a lead teaching week. The student cannot be financially reimbursed for practicum hours and cannot complete the internship at his/her current place of employment. Prerequisite: CDEV 101 with a minimum grade of C and
CDEV 201 with a minimum grade of C and
CDEV 215 with a minimum grade of C and
CDEV 220 with a minimum grade of C and
