GEOL 102 - Historical GeologyCredit Hours 4 Lecture: 2 Lab: 4 Emphasis on the origin and structure of Earth and its history as revealed by rock strata. Evolution of plant and animal life is followed through the study of fossils. Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 101 or minimum grade of “C” in one of the following: ENG 021 and ENG 099; or ENG 022 and ENG 099; or the EAP course sequence ENG 079 and ENG 089, or ENG 096; and placement into MATH 094or minimum grade “C” in MATH 090.
