College Success is designed to introduce the student to the community college. Emphasis is placed on acquiring the skills necessary to succeed in college. Topics such as understanding JJC policies and procedures, choosing the right college courses, managing stress, and relating to others of diverse backgrounds are covered along with learning college survival skills that focus on improving time management, study skills, note talking, test taking, memory, and communication. Prerequisite: ENG 020 and ENG 098 or Appropriate placement scores.
