HIM 210 - Clinical Classification Systems

This course is a continuation of HIM 110 and HIM 111, ICD-9-CM and CPT Coding classification systems. APC assignment, DRG assignment, case-mix analysis, and other classification systems will be explored.  Development of essential skills needed for correct assignment of codes will be emphasized. Prerequisite: HIM 110 and HIM 111 and HIM 215

HIM 215 may be taken concurrently.
