HUS 203 - Group Dynamics

This course provides an understanding of the structure and dynamics of human needs as well as the nature of individuals and groups. Students will gain insight to various ways that groups can be used, including skills to facilitate groups, an understanding of the capacities, limitations, and resilience of human systems. Emphasis will be on context, changes in family structures and roles, and diversity. Other topics include introductions to organizational structures of communities, theories of human development and ethical guidelines. Prerequisite: HUS 103 with a minimum grade B and
