CRJ 210 - Introduction to Criminal Justice Research

An examination of the research function within criminal justice as a discipline and the relationship of planning and research within criminal justice agencies. Focuses on various research techniques and models used to evaluate criminal justice functions, programs, operations, and activities. Applied research techniques are utilized. Prerequisite: CRJ 100  , CRJ 105  , and CRJ 110  . Placement testing into ENG 021  and ENG 099 ; ENG 022  and ENG 099 ,or the EAP course sequence ENG 078  and ENG 088 ; or ENG 096 ;or minimum grade “C” in one of the following: ENG 020  and ENG 098 ; or the EAP course sequence ENG 077  and ENG 087 .
