In this course, students will utilize the JJC lab and/or various clinical sites for supervised professional practice in HIM. This experience will provide hands-on application of health information technology processes. ICD-9-CM and CPT coding, and abstracting applications will be emphasized. Prerequisite: Consent of HIM Coordinator/Department
