PHYS 203 - Engineering Physics IIICredit Hours 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 This lecture/discussion course is a continuation of PHYS 201-202 and deals with the major concepts developed in physics since 1900 such as relativity, quantum effects, atomic physics, nuclear physics, and solid-state physics. Prerequisite: PHYS 202 and placement into ENG 101 or minimum grade of “C” in ENG 021 and ENG 099 ; or ENG 022 and ENG 099 ; or the EAP course sequence ENG 079 and ENG 089 ; or ENG 096 .
