RADT 232 - Clinical Education

This course provides the student with the opportunity to participate in direct patient care to develop continuing and advanced skills in positioning the patient for all procedures that were taught in the previous semesters. The focus of this course is to complete any missing clinical competencies in the general diagnostic area. Students will spend three 8-hour shifts at the clinical site for the entire semester. If all 51 clinical competencies are completed, the student will be allowed to rotate through special imaging areas such as CT (Cat Scan), MRI, Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Sonography, Radiation Therapy, Surgical and mobile procedures, and any other invasive imaging if the availability exits. Prerequisite: RADT 206 , RADT 207  and RADT 231  all with minimum grade “C”.
