CTOM 123 - Principles of HydraulicsLecture - Lab - Credit Hours: 2-2-3 This course explores the knowledge and skills needed to understand hydraulic systems and related components. System designs and controls, conventional diagnostics and electronically controlled diagnostics are explained and demonstrated in this course. Health hazards, safety rules/regulations, and environmental topics relating to hydraulic fluids are discussed and identified. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: CTOM 118 and acceptance into the Operators Apprenticeship program or consent of department.
