A course in Gas Metal Arc Welding which emphasizes safety, fundamentals of the processes, equipment, and techniques involved with welding mild steel and aluminum. AWS welder qualification is offered in the 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G positions on mild steel with backing strip. Prerequisite: and with minimum grade of C.
