Program Code: AG110

The Agriculture Production and Management program prepares students to enter employment in production agriculture through farming and farm management. Technical education is provided in crop and livestock production, mechanical skills and farm business management. In addition to general college subjects, supervised occupational experience in production agriculture for college credit is an integral part of this program.

In addition to the broad base of study, the A.A.S. degree program includes 19 weeks of a paid internship work experience at a related agricultural production facility. Students are placed in these work experience programs.

General Education Requirements: 15 Semester Hours


Department Electives: 9 Semester Hours


Select 9 cr. hrs. from any courses with AGRI prefix.
