ENG 120 - Introduction to Creative Writing

Explores the art and craft of creative writing.  Students will examine and experiment with various forms and techniques of creative writing applicable to multiple genres.  Students will learn about and employ various creative processes and the writing process.  A writing workshop will be employed with a focus on peer critique, revision, and preparation for publication. Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 101; or minimum grade “C” in one of the following: ENG 021 and ENG 099; or the EAP course sequence ENG 078, ENG 079, and ENG 088 and ENG 089; or ENG 096.
