DGTL 100 - Concepts of Digital MediaCredit Hours 4 Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 This course will provide students with an overview of multimedia concepts and a conceptual presentation of multimedia design principles and applications. Students will get exposure to a variety of current, industry standard software packages and technologies via extensive hands-on experiences. Topics include interactive documents and desktop publishing techniques, digital photography, image manipulation, digital video, digital sound, animation and multimedia authoring. Class discussions and readings include design considerations, application issues, and career opportunities.
