CDEV 230 - Discipline/Classroom Management

This course is designed to familiarize the student with guidance methods and classroom management in early childhood settings. Students will integrate knowledge of child development and best practice through active reflection and evaluation of their personal and cultural beliefs concerning child guidance. Special emphasis will be placed on observing, documenting and analyzing children’s behavior through the completion of a minimum of ten observation hours. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101
