ENG 068 - Listening and Speaking III

This course introduces students whose first or primary language is not English to intermediate-level listening and speaking skills and strategies that are useful in English-speaking environments. The course cultivates skills/ strategies to improve students’ listening and speaking skills, pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition, and understanding of idiomatic language. Listening and Speaking III is intended for students who hold a high school diploma or its equivalent and have previously studied English in the United States or their native countries. This course does not count toward graduation requirements and is non-transferable. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate placement or minimum grade “C” in ENG 067  .
