PCIT 221 - Control Loop Tuning and TroubleshootingCredit Hours: 3 Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 This course covers the principles of automatic industrial control and the operation of the proportional, integral, and derivative control modes. Advance concepts of cascade, ratio, and feedforward control modes are presented. Methods of controller tuning and a systematic approach to troubleshooting single- and multi-loop control loops are covered. Relationship of pressure, level and flow temperature loops to system control is covered. Prerequisite(s): PCIT 111 and PCIT 113 , or consent of department Is course repeatable for credit?
