PSYC 207 - Psychology of PersonalityCredit Hours: 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 This course serves as a study of the major theories and research findings related to human personality. The application of personality psychology to everyday life as well as to understanding and appreciating human diversity are addressed. Topics covered may include research methods and assessment of personality, as well as personality-focused research and theory related to traits, self and identity, genetics, neuroscience, psychoanalytic approaches, cognition, regulation and motivation, culture, gender, resilience, and personality disorders. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101 Is course repeatable for credit?
