BIO 252 - Human Anatomy Cadaver Dissection

This course provides students with a firm understanding of the structure of the human body. This will be achieved through student dissection of a human cadaver, anatomical models, lectures, guided review sessions and self-directed learning. Emphasis is on the normal anatomy of the skeletal elements, musculature, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive and urogenital systems. Practical for all students in medical and allied health fields desiring knowledge of the human body. Students who are pregnant or may become pregnant during the course of the semester are strongly advised to consult their doctor before enrolling in this course. Prerequisite(s): BIO 251   with minimum grade of “C” and consent of instructor.
