LENF 235 - Probation, Parole and Community CorrectionsCredit Hours: 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 The course will engage a review and evaluation of the continuum of correctional options from probation, through prisons, to parole and community-based re-entry services. An examination of the legal issues in probation and parole will be considered. Special focus will be applied to the study of the roles of probation and parole officers, along with a review of programs that have been developed for offenders with special needs and public risk mitigation.
