This course introduces students whose first or primary language is not English to intermediate-level academic writing skills and grammatical concepts. The course highlights studying paragraph and essay development. Writing III is intended for students who hold a high school diploma or its equivalent and have previously studied English in the United States or their native countries. This course does not count toward graduation and is non-transferable. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate placement score or minimum grade “C” in ENG 087 .
