Survey of basic building systems including wood, concrete, and steel framing, building envelope and interior. The course is designed to develop an understanding of the materials and methods of construction of residential and commercial-type buildings and includes a survey of different types of construction and their advantages and limitations. Also, sustainable and green construction methods are covered. (previously AEC 104)
