EGR 207 - Structural Planning and AnalysisCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 A basic study of technical statics evaluating loads and forces acting on structures at rest. Learn basic analysis and design methods to select and size the various elements of the major building gravity and lateral systems. Study includes steel, concrete, masonry and wood structural systems. This course teaches the fundamentals of understanding the principles of planning a building’s structural system. (previously AEC 207) Prerequisites MATH 119 , MATH 131 , MATH 138 or higher.
