RADT 106 - Intro to Radiologic Science & Health

This course provides an orientation to the roles and professional responsibilities of the medical radiographer. Basic radiation protection of technologists, patients and others is presented. Basic principles of exposure and image production are also presented. Patient care skills and radiographic medical terminology are introduced. BIO 250 is a prerequisite for this course. Available only to students admitted into the Radiological Technology program. Prerequisites BIO 250   with  minimum grade “C”.
