This class will cover strategic human resource management in a healthcare setting through lecture and assignments. Teaches various steps in the human resource field for hiring, maintaining, and retaining healthcare employees. Students will create policies, memos, budgets, productivity standards, training materials and presentations utilizing MS-Word, MS-Excel and PowerPoint. Prerequisites HIM 101 with a minimum grade “C”.
