MATH 123 - Mathematical Structures/Concepts I for Elementary School TeachersCredit Hours 4 Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Emphasis is placed on structure, meaning, relationships, and types of thinking in elementary mathematics. Problem solving, sets, numeration systems, integers, logic, rational numbers, and ratio and proportion are among the topics considered. Prerequisites Qualifying placement into MATH 123 or a minimum grade of “C” in MATH 075 (may substitute MATH 090 if successfully completed).
