Fundamentals include zoo, wildlife, aquatic and non-domestic companion animal care in addition to regulatory oversight. Emphasis is placed on a One Health approach addressing the interconnection between human, animal and ecosystem health. Daytime field trips may be included in the course. Prerequisites VET 121 and VET 140
