RESP 103 - Patient Assessment

Introduction to: physical assessment of the patient, the chart, medical terminology, the hospital setting, the role of the respiratory care practitioner in the hospital as a member of the health care team. Clinical policies, communication techniques, culture, values, professionalism, ethics, patient’s bill of rights and behavior are emphasized. Documentation in the medical record is included. Prerequisites Acceptance to the Respiratory Care Program
