RESP 108 - Respiratory Care Lab II

Respiratory Care Lab II is an introduction to hospital policies and procedures, continuation of application and practice of respiratory care procedures and modalities now applied to the critically ill adult patient. Emphasis on airway management, mechanical ventilators, circuitry, theories of mechanical ventilation, management, and techniques. Comprehensive laboratory testing and clinical case studies are presented with technical management corollaries. Writing assignments as appropriate to the discipline are part of the course. Prerequisites RESP 101, RESP 102, RESP 103, RESP 104, and RESP 105.
