MATH 075 - Mathematics Literacy

This course is designed for non-STEM majors pursuing Math123, Math127 or Math128. The course focuses on numeracy, proportional reasoning, algebra, data analysis, and mathematical modeling. Students will develop a stronger understanding of mathematical concepts through conceptual and procedural tools with an emphasis placed on problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication. This course is not intended for transfer. Prerequisites Qualifying Reading Placement into ENG 020 or ENG 078 or higher required and Qualifying placement into MATH 075.
