PHYS 203 - Engineering Physics IIILecture - Lab - Credit Hours: 3-0-3 This lecture/discussion course is a continuation of PHYS 201 -PHYS 202 and deals with the major concepts developed in physics since 1900, such as relativity, quantum effects, atomic physics, nuclear physics, and solid-state physics. Prerequisite: PHYS 202 ; and Placement into ENG 101 or minimum grade of “C” in one of the following: ENG 021 and ENG 099 ; or ENG 022 and ENG 099 ; or the EAP course sequence ENG 079 and ENG 089 , or ENG 096 .
