Program Code: TE335
The Architectural Studies curriculum is designed to enable the student to enter an exciting career in the design and construction industry and offer unlimited job opportunities. The Architectural Studies program focuses on preparing students to be productive members of an architectural firm and/or be able to continue their education at an accredited architecture program to earn an advanced degree ultimately leading to professional licensing. The Associate in Applied Science degree in Architectural Studies offers students an opportunity to develop advanced design and technical skills to be an integral part in creating the built environment. The program also offers on-the-job internship opportunities and a thorough understanding of the architectural practice and career planning required to be a part of the architecture profession.

General Education Requirements: 15 Semester Hours
Student is STRONGLY advised to see the Architecture Program advisor for assistance in selecting the applicable general education courses required for transfer, as transfer requirements vary between institutions. Major Core Requirements: 48 Semester Hours
Major Core Elective: 6 Semester Hours
Select any Technical or Fine Art Department Elective or Other as approved by Department advisor. Total Required Hours: 69 Semester Hours
