Learn the fundamentals of GIS technology and geospatial applications in the vast amount of industries utilizing GIS. The courses will introduce students to the basic concepts and tools of GIS, develop spatial analysis and data aquisition skills, and learn cartographic design to summarize and present the data. Project based and hands on learning will prepare the student to apply the acquired knowledge to begin an entry level position as a GIS technician in many various industries.
