Gaming is a rapidly growing, multi-billion-dollar industry.
There are many career paths for this industry, such as:
- game programmer
- game designer
- audio artist
- graphics artist
- animation artist
- game producer
- game tester
The Game Design and Development program will teach you the skills and techniques to design and create games.

You will learn how to use Maya and UnReal game engines to develop 3D models and animations for games.

General Education Requirements: 15 Semester Hours

ENG 101 - Rhetoric I
CIS 122 - Computer Information Systems Fundamentals
Take 3 credit hours from Group II: Social and Behavioral Sciences
Take at least 3 credit hours from Group IV: Math/Sciences
Take one course from Groups I-V: General Education to total 15 credit hours total in General Education

Major Core Requirements: 34 Semester Hours

Major Electives: 11 Semester Hours

Take 11 Semester Hours from the following, or consent of department.
