The Retail Associate Certificate Program is designed to prepare individuals for entry level positions as well as career advancement in one of the largest areas of local employment, the merchandizing of products to individuals and consumers at the retail level. In this short term training program, students complete courses that stress the basic knowledge and skills necessary for retail employment, including management, marketing and sales and customer relations. Upon completion of this Certificate, students are encouraged to pursue our Certificate of Achievement in Retail Business Management where students develop further managerial and communication skills. Course work completed in each of these Certificates is fully applicable to our Associate of Applied Science Degree in Management & Supervision.
