AS 214 - Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles

Theory of operation of torque converters, planetary gear sets and hydraulics as applied to the construction, diagnosis, service, and overhaul procedures for modern automatic transmissions and transaxles. The theory and operation of advanced electronic transmission control systems will also be included.Prerequisite: AS 114 or consent of department.
