GEOG 102 - World Regional Geography

An introductory study of the geography of societies and nations. The regional distribution of human, cultural and natural phenomena, emphasizing the spatial interaction between the physical world and man’s occupancy. Recommended as an elective for education majors, particularly elementary and junior high. Generally transfers as a social science course.Prerequisite: Placement into ENG 101 , or minimum grade “C” in ENG 021  and ENG 099 , or in ENG 096 .

THIS COURSE EMPHASIZES A GLOBAL AND/OR INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE AND IS APPROPRIATE FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN INTERNATIONAL STUDIES.
