ENG 095 - ESL Reading and Writing IILecture - Lab - Credit Hours: 6-0-6 ESL is a course blending reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. It is designed to improve the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills of non-native speakers of English and adequately prepare them for college credit courses. Students will develop proficiency in reading strategies, increase vocabulary knowledge, and improve their ability to construct meaning. (Not intended for transfer.)Prerequisite: Appropriate placement score or minimum grade “C” in ENG 094 , or ENG
020 and ENG 098 .
