CDEV 220 - Instructional Methods in Early Childhood SettingsCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 A practical overview of the interrelated components of developmentally appropriate curricula design, modification and implementation in early childhood settings from birth to age eight. The course focuses on relationships among developmental theory, philosophy, creation and practice of curriculum based on the needs and interests of children who are culturally, linguistically and ability diverse. The analysis of a wide range of early childhood curriculum models is emphasized.
