MFG 175 - Advanced Diemaking IICredit Hours 4 Lecture: 2 Lab: 4 MFG 175 is designed as a theory and hands-on curriculum continuation of MFG 170 (Advanced Diemaking I). This course will examine the fundamental theory and hands-on study of draw dies including types, material used, lubricants and draw-die reductions along with advanced work in gauges, fixtures and intricate progressive dies. The student will apply these principles of die components in a hands-on practicum in the machine tool laboratory. Corequisite: MFG 170 Is course repeatable for credit?
