This course involves the analysis of the distribution and characteristics of leading global economic activities. The focus is on the changing structure of our national economy and on how those changes affect the prospects of American communities and American workers. Recommended as an elective for business and agriculture majors. Transfers as a social science course. Prerequisite(s): Placement into ENG 101 or minimum grade of “C” in one of the following: ENG 021 and ENG 099 ; or ENG ENG 022 and ENG 099 ; or the EAP course sequence ENG 079 and ENG 089 ; or ENG 096 .
