A course in Gas Metal Arc Welding which emphasizes safety, fundamentals of the process, equipment, and techniques involved with welding mild steel and aluminum. AWS welder qualification is offered in the 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G positions on mild steel with backing strip. Prerequisite(s): WLDG 101 and MFG 120 with minimum grade of “C”.
