FSCI 232 - Fire Academy IIICredit Hours 5 Lecture: 3 Lab: 4 This course teaches the history, organization, and work of the fire service. Also teaches the fundamentals of fire behavior, hose, ladders, safety, extinguishers, and self-contained breathing apparatus. Students will attend and participate in classroom lecture and practical exercises. Prerequisite(s): EMS 201 /EMS 209 , FSCI 231 with minimum grade “C”, minimum GPA of 2.0, approval of Fire Science coordinator, and must be a 2nd year student Is course repeatable for credit?
