VET 111 - Small Animal Nursing IICredit Hours 3.5 Lecture: 1 Lab: 6 Development of basic nursing skills for the dog and cat. Emphasis on bandaging, venipuncture, placement of indwelling catheters, and dentistry. Other topics to be discussed include endocrine diseases, reproduction, fluid therapy, and gastrointestinal conditions. This course includes 3 hours of supervised clinical experience in addition to on campus labs. Prerequisite(s): VET 110 Is course repeatable for credit?
