RADT 230 - Clinical EducationCredit Hours 2 Lecture: 0 Lab: 16 This course provides the student with the opportunity to participate in direct patient care to develop skills in positioning the patient for all procedures that were taught in the previous semesters. Students will spend three 8-hour shifts per week at clinical sites for 10 weeks. Radiographic examinations include any chest, abdominal or appendicular body part examinations. Students are also allowed and encouraged to gain competency at any fluoroscopic procedures including c-arm procedures performed in surgery. Any radiographic procedure in surgery will be directly supervised. Students are evaluated with proficiency and competency evaluations by supervising ARRT registered radiographers. Prerequisite(s): RADT 110 , RADT 111 , and RADT 131 all with minimum grade “C”. Is course repeatable for credit?
