FSCI 115 - Terrorism and CounterterrorismCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 This course serves as a basic introduction to terrorism. Historical background, definitions, tactics, ideologies, and terrorism’s impact on twenty-first century civilization around the world will be explored. Both current and historical events are analyzed within course context to provide experiential learning and development of critical thinking skills. Prerequisite(s): Placement into ENG 101 or minimum grade of “C” in one of the following: ENG 021 and ENG 099; or ENG 022 and ENG 099; or the EAP course sequence ENG 079 and ENG 089, or ENG 096.
