RESP 204 - Respiratory Care Capstone

This course is designed to prepare students to take the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Therapist Multiple-Choice examination (TMC) leading to the CRT credential and the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination through discussion, case studies, computer software, and mock examinations. The primary goal of this course is to focus on the complex subjects of the CRT and RRT content outline. Therefore, to enhance performance on the mock examination, outside resources such as computer examinations and exam matrices must be utilized. Respiratory care research topics and ethics presented. Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support training and certification are also included. Prerequisite(s): RESP 201, RESP 202, and RESP 203.
