CTOM 107 - Theories on Engine ComponentsLecture - Lab - Credit Hours: 2-1-2.5 This course explains essential principles associated with internal combustion engines and related systems. Techniques to disassemble and evaluate engine components will be introduced and demonstrated. Principles of exhaust systems and their operational importance also will be covered. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: CTOM 105 and acceptance into the Operators Apprenticeship program or consent of department.
